During washing in the dishwasher, any stains due to detergents are to be considered simple imperfections which in no way compromise the integrity of the cooking instrument.

Any water leaking from the handles is caused by the long washing cycles of home dishwashers which facilitate their filling as these parts are made of hollow tubing inside. Long washing cycles are therefore not recommended.
